Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026 · Applies to SketchLog

SketchLog does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. The app doesn't connect to the internet at all — everything you create stays on your device.

Data we do not collect

  • SketchLog does not connect to the internet
  • No analytics, tracking, or advertising services are used
  • No name, email, location, or personal information is collected
  • Nothing is shared with third parties — there is nowhere for data to go, since none of it ever leaves your device

Data stored on your device

SketchLog stores the following, entirely locally on your phone:

  • Reference photos and sketch photos you take within the app
  • Categories, targets, and progress you create
  • Your chosen color theme

None of this is uploaded anywhere. It lives in the app's private storage and a local database on your device only.

Camera permission

SketchLog requests camera access solely so you can take reference photos and sketch photos from within the app. The camera is only active while you're using the in-app camera screens, and photos are saved directly to local storage — never transmitted anywhere.

Data deletion

  • Deleting a photo, sketch, or category in the app permanently removes it from your device
  • Uninstalling the app removes all of its data
  • There is no cloud account, so there is no remote copy to separately delete

Children's privacy

SketchLog does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all. The app is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of SketchLog adds an optional cloud backup or export feature that involves data leaving the device — this page will be updated and the date above will reflect that.
